I used this material to run a one shot for Pirate Borg. this is the story, if anyone is interested:
Yurata is sleeping down in the ocean, her power has been banned into an amulet
long time ago that lost amulet has been given to a young princess in Yucatan
the princess died young and has been laid to rest with it
fast forward to today the PCs are just boarding an expedition camp with a crate holding the rediscovered sarcophagus
crate and gold have to be brought to ship by dinghies
Touching the crate test Spirit: failure sends shivers down your spine, success hear a lullaby
Once passed touching the Sarcophagus in the crate will allow to talk to the childish Yurata
a Sava will attack the dinghy with the crate (and the PCs)
on board is a disguised Sea Bishop trying to throw the corpse with the amulet over board, he is plotting to free Yurata
if the Sea Bishop fails due to the PCs the next day a Fire Wyrm is attacking the frigate. It is trying to shatter the ship so Vodniks can get hold of the corpse and amulet
In my session the PCs interrupted the Sea Bishop. In the fight with the Wyrm one of the PCs agreed to free Yurata. The PCs has been granted the Blessing of Yurata: he has to summon her every full moon to let her "play" with ships etc. While testing Spirit DR16 he can summon her anytime to let her attack a ship the PC is choosing.
It was a funny 3 hours session, introducing sea fight to new players and having a lot of moral dilemma.
